I’m told sex sells and that a pair of breasts will get a guy to buy anything, I generally agree (I am married after all) but I believe there are limits.

Lately some kind of online game called Evony has been using lurid advertising on sites that I frequent (see pictures) but if they think that cleavage alone will get me to sign up they’ve got another thing coming.

The game itself appears to be some kind of medieval castle management game where you have to recruit workers, chop lumber, and so on. Nothing to do with boobs in and of itself. I guess the game publishers just don’t consider an abacus or a calculator nearly as sexy as I do.

Also note another Evony ad below….why would I want to play the game secretly? Is national security at stake?

I mean really, is the game so crappy that they believe men need to be enticed by a large breasted woman in apparent ecstasy to sign up?

Well maybe I should go have a quick look just for academic purposes…

So it is two for $5.69 or do you have to buy two then two (or is it four) for two times $5.69 ($11.38)?

I’m pretty sure it’s two for $5.69 but whoever designed this sign is moron of the day for December 30th, 2008.

See the picture, he actually had to rip the packaging to stuff the book in there and he creased the cover so bad that it’s practically wrecked.

All this and there’s a perfectly larger box specifically designed for packages that he could have dropped the book in about 36 inches to the left.

Moron!!!!

Yeah, it is funny.

The 94 octane fuel costs less than mid-grade or regular-premium. Makes no sense, some kind of pricing mistake prehaps?

I imported a CD, “The best of Bond”, album name, tracks, everything came in ok. Then I asked iTunes to get the Album Artwork.

Well I was cruising some right wing oriented blogs and found this amongst other left wing stupidities; according to this blog entry and the linked BCHRT decision it is now a human rights violation to require that employees who work in the food services industry wash their hands.

For sport huh? Gee Nikki are you kind of mutant mind reader? How do you know what the hunter was doing there? Assuming that this was relating to the story of Calgarian Don Peters who was killed by a Grizzly while hunting in Alberta in the fall of 2007 ole’ Nikki is making some big and hairy assumptions.
